Harley Lampkin grew up in Tracy, California. She sang on renowned stages such as the Grand Ole' Opry in Nashville, Tennessee and Carnegie Hall in New York City, leading her to pursue a vocal performance degree at the University of the Pacific. She studied under Burr Phillips, and had masterclasses with Eric Dudley from Roomful of Teeth and jazz singers Carmen Bradford and Dee Daniels. She is a 1st place winner of the 2019 Stockton Opera Guild Kathe Underwood Competition, and the 2020 winner of Opera Modesto’s Kristina Townsend Competition. She performed in Pacific’s American Songbook Project at Take 5 Jazz Club, Dido & Aeneas, The Beggar’s Opera, Brigadoon, and was set to perform the role of Pitti-Sing in The Mikado in the spring of 2020 as directed by James Haffner.
