Harry Hanani a.k.a BALA'I (born September 5, 1994, as Harry Nenman Shadrach) is an African rapper and record producer. He is regarded by critics and contemporaries as one of the most inspiring and influential rappers of his generation; a rap god.
Raised in Jos Plateau, Hanani embarked on his musical career as a teenager in College of St Joseph Vom under the stage name Bala'i and released his first single "Love Sucks" in 2012 which was followed by several features and songs. He gradually gained recognition and later signed a recording contract with the House Of Mackerel (H.O.M) in 2016 which led to the release of his project The Alchemy which he divided into a mixtape "Grownup" and an EP "Growing up" in 2017 around the same period he obtained a BSc certificate from the Department of Building Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. He moved on to serve as a youth corps member in Ilaje Ondo Nigeria from 2018 to 2019 where he made an impact on the entire community through music.
