Hashim (b.k.a. Hashim “ThaDream”) is a Soca/Fusion recording artist from the British Virgin Islands who has been writing and performing since the age of 14, achieving top ratings and winning several awards for his productions around the Caribbean. He is the pioneer of the signature sound, “Soca With A Twist” (a.k.a “S.W.A.T.”), a fusion of Soca with Pop, Dancehall and Afrobeat. He has performed with triple platinum artist Iyaz and Grammy Award Winning Songwriters, R. City, collaborated with Major Lazor Affiliates, Bad Royale and has also opened shows for several top Soca artistes including Machel Montano, Destra Garcia, Kes The Band, Bunji Garlin and Fay-Ann Lyons. He is also a 2-Time International Soca Monarch Semi Finalist and has accumulated over 600,000 views on YouTube through his songs and videos. Hashim continues to build his name in the music/entertainment industry through his dynamic "Soca With A Twist" (S.W.A.T.) brand.
