HEIDORGEN Growing up Heidorgen gravitated towards hip-hop culture inspired by the likes of De La Soul, Aesop Rock, and Public Enemy, with further influences coming from House, Garage, Funk, Jazz, & Soul. After a decade of writing rhymes as an emcee, he went on to discover his eclectic influences and develop his own unique style of sample-based electronic music whilst also completing a degree in Audio Engineering and Music Production at SAE Institute Vancouver. His crisp and intriguing production and sound design is evident in his growing portfolio of impressive work, which has included working on film sets as an audio engineer & boom-operator, as well as in post-production as a Foley artist & sound mixer and designer. 2024 sees Heidorgen continue to evolve his production style merging UK Garage and House music with his prominent style of sample chops and session arrangements.
