Henry, born in Haarlem the Netherlands, moves to Heerhugowaard at a young age and hears all kinds of music at home. Classic, pop, rock, jazz, gospel, easy listening. Dire Straits and Rory Gallagher, among others, are very popular with the music of his brothers. In the house there is usually somewhere a ukulele or a cheap guitar from the postorder company . The stringed instrument accompanies him from an early age and with some self-study he tries to play along. From 1981 the New wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) has been rolling firmly into his life. During the eighties he can be found at a lot of rock and metal concerts in his country. At the age of 15, Henry buys his first electric guitar with his father.
Henry makes his first appearance on stage in the hard rock band Jack-A-Dandy from Heerhugowaard (late 80s / early 90s) and played at various locations in North Holland and as support act for Jewel, among others. They played their own songs but also covers of ZZ Top and Queen. D
