Human Intrusion is the project of Penny Walker-Keefe and Lewis O’Brien, based in Naarm/Melbourne. We take the light and the dark, the new and the nostalgic.
Having played in a variety of bands over the years, this is our attempt to make our own version of the music we enjoy listening to. Influenced by the classic records of the 80’s and 90’s, unashamedly borrowing from a new-wave, goth and post-punk sentimentality.
“High Fever” is our newest release. It combines a relentless pulsating rhythm, soaring melodies and wistful lyrical uneasiness in a time-honoured musical structure. This is a personal song, full of the hesitance involved when creating art in our own personal isolation.
