human.motives is the brainchild of Dutch artist Chris van der Linden, an avant-garde electronic music venture that delicately merges the intricacies of glitch with the chilled vibes of dub and lo-fi house. This experimental project blends synthesized sounds with authentic instrumentals and ambient field recordings. Inspired by pioneers like Frank Bretschneider, Morgan Packard, and Ryoji Ikeda, Chris crafts minimalist soundscapes that oscillate between phasing motifs, cyclical patterns, and rich textural bursts. Each track is a reflective exploration of human themes such as change, loss and hope.
