IMCooV

Helena, MT

My name is Michael but my friends call me CooV (pronounced Coovey). I was born and raised in MT and been playing music for roughly 25 years. I play guitar, mandolin, bouzouki, bass, cajon and try to sing. I am part of a couple groups and substitute in for all kinds of bands with all kinds of instruments. I play mandolin in Patrick Lang and the Sack Religious and I play all instruments in Groov CooV & The Buffalo Bill Kills at the moment. I would say it's a rock alternative type of genre. They both are. Patrick Land & the Sack Religious is a great variety of indie, country, rock and some soul. As for Groov CooV, it's hard to explain but someone once told me my originals are a combination of Johnny Cash and John Mayer. I feel that's a stretch as those are two titans but that is what Ive been told. Ive also been told I remind them of 90s bands whatever that means to ya to take it one step further. Looking to try and play out as much as possible as well as meet people as well!
