Columbus, Ohio native Kyran Scott is armed with an arsenal of thought provoking lyrics, entertaining antidotes, and gifted lyricism. Kyran Scott represents the next generation of Hip Hop artistry; a socially consciousness story teller fused with talents ranging from songwriting, photography, screenwriting, and performance art . Influenced by the Golden Age of Rap, Kyran became engulfed in Hip Hop Culture. Emulating artists such as Big Daddy Kane, KRS One, & Rakim he began connecting their lyrics to popular culture and film. While attending the University of Cincinnati and majoring in African-American Studies, Kyran emerged himself in all aspects of Hip Hop Culture and wrote his senior thesis on Yasiin Bey (Mos Def) and Talib Kweli's classic album, "BlackStar" . Cincinnati became ground zero for Kyran . Upon Graduation Kyran left Cincinnati and traveled to North Carolina where he currently resides.
