Jan Zelinger was introduced to the technique of mixing on turntables at the end of 1997. As a Dj Kita he started to play in 1998 in clubs and festivals such as Hradhouse, Citadela, Summer of Love, Beat For Love, Coal Festival and others. He played not only all over the Czech Republic, but also in Slovakia, Poland, Germany and Luxembourg. He has appeared as a guest on Radio Jih, Kiss Publikum, Techno Live Sets Radio, Radio Fajn or Svit Zlín where he is currently co-creating the Lords Radio Show. He started his own music in 2001. He released his first song on vinyl in 2003 under the name Volkom on Samopal Records. He released his first solo EP in 2011 on the Naked Records label called "I have to say EP". He has released his music on labels such as Natura Viva, Yin Yang Records, Since 2011 he has been playing, producing and releasing under the pseudonym Ian Kita. Currently he plays mainly Tech House, Techno, but also Deep House.
