A native of Sierra Leone, Izzy SL began to find refuge in music at an early age. He has proven to have many accolades to showcase his skills. The most prominent has been his performance at Fest Africa, which is known to be the largest African festival in the United States. Izzy was also able to open for Toofan, play his music in a room of legends (such as Quincy Jones) at a pre-Grammy event, produced for major African artists from his home country, and his work has been placed in MTV Africa’s Top 20.
Izzy SL founded his company Native Music Group in 2018. His focus not only became producing music, but also mentoring other producers and artists to prepare them for the industry. He decided to further his knowledge by pursuing a degree in audio engineering and productions from Full Sail University while earning a Pro Tools certification as well. Since the founding of his label, Izzy has continued to work with various artists and expand his knowledge to more intricate parts of his fiel
