JB Jefferson born in Chicago 1961 and this is only part of the story. In 2018 my lovely wife gave me a book on “How to Build Homemade Instruments”, instantly I was hooked. It took a while to figure how to play the CIGARBOX guitar since I have been a blues club drummer for most of my life. It was in Memphis, TN that my whole life changed. I saw my first one man band street performing on Beale. The clouds cleared and I saw the light! Hill country blues! RL Burnside, Junior Kimbrough, Robert Belfour, Charley Patton, Howlin’ Wolf, Robert Johnson... Then onto the holyland Clarksdale, MS a must pilgrimage for every blues enthusiast. It got me to thinking, I have these homemade whackadoo guitars, a gravely voice marinating in whiskey and razorblades, a thumpin’ old bass drum and the swish and click of a hi hat. Some people say it’s sounds pretty FN cool! I’m excited to share my music with YOU! So if you like it foot stompin', hand clappin', raw or greasy I'm serving' it up
