JBdaPoet

Houston TX, USA

A raspy bass-toned MC hailing from Houston, TX emerging on the music scene displaying a wide range of content from his testimony to carrying a Texas-sized chip on his shoulders. JBdaPoet stood in a unique position during his adolescent years having several friends who he felt compassion for due to their less fortunate upbringing. He always admired the grit, grind, love, survival mode, and passion they possessed, and though he was slightly more fortunate than they were, he never judged, and to this day they are the prime reason for his philanthropic aspirations. Da Poet is a true example of curiosity killing the cat as he rebelled against the teachings from his parents and chose to test the waters of the streets. Leaning on his Christian foundation would steer him to his purpose of aiding others to fight against limiting beliefs that hindered them from evolving and how he coined himself HamBarnabas as his alter-ego which means Black Son of Encouragement. His story is his music.
