Jack Evershed started producing bedroom beats and remixes out of his dorm room at UC Santa Barbara.
Although Jack struggled to fit in as a freshman, he found his voice on campus by learning how to make electronic music. Flash forward to graduation, Jack developed a groovy and experimental sound influenced by hip hop, disco, and future house.
Under JEV, he released his first EP change of plans. on September 2022. The EP is heavily inspired by UK 2-step garage and breakbeat music.
JEV has a growing international fan base in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. His beats have made it pretty far outside his bedroom with over 200,000 streams worldwide.
