J.P. Floyd. Producer, Writer, and Grammy Award Winning Trombonist with experience in music education, live performance & studio session production. J.P. is 29 yrs old and was born and raised in Chicago, IL. J.P.’s main instrument consist of Trombone and he also plays Keys, Bass Guitar, Tuba, Euphonium, and can sing. J.P. has performed all around the world and has performed with amazing acts such as: Bette Midler, Frank Ocean, Chance The Rapper, Kids These Days, Demi Lovato, and others. J.P. recently won his first Grammy from being apart of Chance The Rapper’s “Coloring Book” (which won "Best Rap Album” at the 2017 Grammy Awards). Lastly, J.P. is Apart of the Pi Beta Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America INC (Hampton University).
