I’m J.R. West, born in So. Cal. — where the sunsets hit the citrus groves just right. I spent a some years in a small Oklahoma town, and that’s where my country roots took hold. The people, the stories, the sound — it all stuck with me. When I came back to California, I brought that grit home with me. Now I’m chasing the dream of getting my music out to the world, one song at a time, hoping folks feel the same heartbeat I put into every word.
