J.S.Bulwark ( AKA Jelle Smit ) is an artist that has performed and produced music for over 30 years. He has made 7 albums with his former band KRANG and toured with them for 10 years. He won a Zilveren Harp and was nominated for a Edison. (Dutch music prizes). When the band disintegrated he started writing multiple plays for Theater which he performed with his group KALTERFLUG. He writes the scripts but also the live played soundtracks. His multi-instrumental skills led him to make a solo project last year. “No shade in My Shed” has been recorded in his shed in the woods of Enschede. The works of Jelle, and now J.S.Bulwark, can be described as colorful, as hard as the truth, paint with sand, heartfelt and you can always feel the necessity.
