Jacy Penland is a student at Dallas Baptist University studying Music Business with an emphasis on Worship Leadership. She has been a worship musician for over 5 years singing and playing multiple instruments including acoustic and electric guitar, bass, and piano. In addition to leading congregations in worship, she also has been writing music since she was 14. Her style is a blend of pop, rock, acoustic, and blues with lyrics based on Biblical truths and her life experiences. Her influences include Rich Mullins, TAYA, We The Kingdom, Echosmith, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, and Switchfoot. She has started self-producing and will be putting out more music in the months to come.
