As a mixed media artist, much of my artistry is rooted in African culture and is centered around a variety of musical genres and modalities. As a bicoastal artist, hailing from New York and now in California, my musical portfolio embodies East/West Coast vibes. As a DJ and beatmaker, I specialize in creating experimental instruments by way of circuit bending and have collaborated with the likes of Rahshan Ahmad and MoePoe, performing at the illustrious Lighting in the Bottle (LIB) music festival, among many other events. I am an agent of real Hip Hop; utilizing musical instruments, MPCs, turntables and old school MC’ing. I AM the ultimate BBoy, hence my moniker – BBOY SUPREME. I still clean my shell toes with a tooth brush and soapy water, still rock Cazals and will forever stay in that BBoy stance.
