James Lindsey is a singer-songwriter from Western Kentucky, whose music is rooted in the storytelling tradition of the South and fueled by a deep love for the guitar.
James picked up the guitar at 15 and never really put it down. Over the years, his playing has been shaped by the blues, the improvisational spirit of jam bands, and artists like the Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers Band, Jimi Hendrix, and Pink Floyd.
A songwriter at heart, James writes music that is poetic, honest, and deeply personal. His songs blend vivid imagery and Southern storytelling with blues-soaked guitar work, soulful melodies, and the freedom to let a song wander wherever the music takes it.
Whether he’s sitting down with a guitar and a story to tell or cutting loose on stage, James brings an unmistakable authenticity to his music. He doesn’t just play guitar—he plays the hell out of it.
