Jamie-Lou (She/They) is a 2nd year undergraduate studying composition at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Describing their music as ‘real’ and ‘human’, Jamie-Lou enjoys fusing their singer/songwriter style with influences of musical theatre and classical ensembles and strives to connect with audiences through raw, vulnerable storytelling.
Over the last year, Jamie-Lou has collaborated with multiple festivals and events. Some of these include CODA, The Poetry Hotel, Birmingham New Music and Rushfest (run by West-End’s George Maguire and Rachael Wooding), where she has performed a wide range of her works.
As she continues her studies, Jamie-Lou is exploring many different areas and styles of music. They are excited to continue their journey as a composer and artist.
