Japetus - born & raised in Sydney, Australia & taught himself to play drum kit, acoustic guitar & keyboards, plus singing, composing & production - then he captured it all, layer upon layer, in the home studio he built in 1980. Between 1983 & 1997 he composed & recorded 12 inspirational albums & released them through his own label. These became the award-winning Visionary Journeys catalogue of evocative & colourful soundspaces - a profound musical framework for exploring the vibratory worlds of imagination & sound for the purpose of self-discovery, meditation & well-being. Over the decades he has been commissioned by many healers, therapists, TV shows & web projects where his musical soundspaces were used exclusively as background music. In today's society it’s easy to recognise the need for healing in any form, & these musical soundspaces, the spoken visualisations, the visionary artworks, the video & workshops, all offer a way of discovering a more subtle & holistic sense of self.
