Hailing from Canada, Alystre North is the creative mind behind the illustration of his life experiences through the lyrics and music. Born in a remote part of Canada, his musical career didn’t take shape until his early twenties when he bought his first electric guitar and began his journey of self-learning. Playing solo acoustic cover in small pubs and bars, it wasn’t until his thirties when he joined a cover band where he rotated between playing electric, acoustic, and bass guitar. Eventually, the band went separate ways and North began his personal journey of musical growth in developing in guitar skills and learning to play drums. Growing up, North was exposed to a range of musical genres dating back to the 1960s with a strong grounding to the soundtracks of his youth throughout the 1980s-1990s; including Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Pink Floyd, Tea Party, Tom Petty, Tragically Hip, and Neil Young.
