Restless Drive is an Alt-Rock project and the newest by Jeff Cooke, a singer/guitarist/songwriter/producer. Influenced by Royal Blood, Muse, Queens of the Stone Age, David Bowie, St. Vincent and many more.
A long-time experienced musician, I lived and played professionally in England until 2009, when I moved to Perth, Western Australia.
In 2015, I formed the rock trio, Aurora, and we recorded two albums of original music between 2016 and 2022, after which the band was sadly dissolved. Our time together was an absolute blast, done for the fun and the love of music, but various commitments meant we decided to call it a day.
All the same, the “restless drive” to create has never left me. I never stopped playing and recording, bringing me to the point where I now have many songs ready to release. For me, I feel that these are the best songs and performances I have been able to create to this point. I hope you like them too.
