Jennifer Marie Dryer is a Kansas City singer-songwriter and the creator of Urban Wonder Mythology—a body of work rooted in place, memory, belonging and the unexpected magic found in ordinary lives. Her songs move freely through cinematic ballads, Americana, cabaret, blues, alt-pop and playful road music, guided by a warm female alto and a storyteller’s eye for detail. She begins with real encounters: a restaurant table, a streetcar line, a rented horizon, a family boundary or a road taken for dessert. From those receipts, she builds songs that preserve both wonder and truth. Her catalog invites listeners to notice where they are, honor what happened there and remain open to what a familiar place—or a familiar life—might become.
