JerseyG is a hip-hop and rap artist who was raised in the southern cities of New Jersey. At 8 years old JerseyG discovered writing music. He was inspired by various genres which lead him in many directions as he discovered himself musically. By the age of 11 he knew that rapping was the musical style that he wanted to pursue. The following years he wrote, filling many notebooks and journals. He wrote about childhood struggles along with anything else he could find to write about. He was heavily influenced by Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff when the fresh prince of Bel-Air was being aired. Around the age of 21, JerseyG left New Jersey and traveled around the country working with many talented artists who crossed his path. It was in his adult years that he truly honed his skills, developing his style and swagger. Rap music will always be an ever-growing passion of his, and he will continue pursuing the goal of being referenced with some of the greatest artists of all time.
