My name is Jesse Edward Thompson Jr. My family lived in Detroit Michigan the Motor City, Motown and Berry Gordy, Joe Lewis, Tommy Hearns, Aretha Franklin, Smokie Robinson, and of course the famous Dramatics. Detroit is music and automobiles my childhood was filled with excitement and music, I really believed that one day I would become a recording artist for Motown Records but unfortunately, Berry decided to move to California and the rest was history but I continued to play drums, guitar, bass guitar, and piano. My father was my inspiration he played Piano and guitar he had a beautiful voice he was a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ so we spent many hours in church. Through the years life began to change, I graduated from Kettering high school and started working at Harper Hospital, J&Y cleaners family-owned business and twenty years with the Navy. Now working with the Federal Government. Music is part of my life so I continue to write songs and celebrate the gift of song.
