A Story of Passion, Perseverance, and Pure Entertainment
Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, and then adopted and raised in Canton, N.C., Jimmy Lee Jordan’s journey to the stage is one of grit, passion, and relentless pursuit of his musical dreams. From an early age, music became his lifeline, and though his parents encouraged him to play the banjo, Jimmy found his true calling in the guitar and vocals, honing his craft in the most unlikely of places—a feed barn, serenading his flock of woolly fans.
Throughout the ‘90s, Jimmy balanced military service and music, performing for the troops and opening for industry icons like Trick Pony, John Popper & Blues Traveler, and Tops in Blue. His raw talent and electrifying stage presence landed him on an Emmy Award-winning television special alongside Nick Lachey, Jessica Simpson, Willie Nelson, Brian McKnight, Big & Rich, and Jimmy Kimmel.
