Stag-Nation, the musical moniker of Florida-based guitarist, vocalist and producer Jay Mealey, is a project rooted in Jay's passion for his country, it's people and future through a lens of compassionate conservative - christian principles + values. Jay's unique combination of 80's Guitar Hero influenced riffs (Rhoads, Schenker, Satriani) and love of melodic hooks + powerful ballads from 80's greats (Dokken, Scorpions, Europe, Def Leppard, Pink Floyd) culminate into an intricate style crafted to deliver his mature - thoughtful messaging. From the first lyric pronounced to the swelling choruses and lead guitar's fiery attack, passion is at the forefront of all you hear.
