Jodie comes from a family with a long history in the music and theatre industry. Her Mum was a dancer who performed in a number of west end shows and her Dad was a well respected singer on the British country music scene, who recorded several albums with his band, Shiloh. Her brother is a session guitarist in Nashville and her sister is a songwriter living in Australia. Jodie’s biggest passion is her songwriting, with which she has gained a large following of listeners on the UK songwriter’s circuit. She was one half of award-winning country duo, Pure Country, releasing 4 albums in the early 2000’s. Jodie plays acoustic guitar, and also played bass guitar in the Garth Brooks tribute show, The Thunder Rolls. Most recently she she has been concentrating on recording her debut album of self-penned songs, alongside playing the role of June Carter in the theatre production, Johnny Cash revisited.
