Joe Fiori is an Italian musician and singer based in Munich, Germany, active in the darkwave and post-punk scenes. His artistic journey began as the frontman of the Italian grunge rock band Jar Of Flies, with whom he was active from 2007 to 2012. After that chapter ended, he chose to continue under his own name, marking a shift toward darker sonorities and a more intimate form of songwriting. Joe Fiori’s music is characterized by gothic echoes and raw, personal storytelling. His songs are not conceived as a form of escape, but rather as a process of transformation: emotional chaos is shaped into structure, melody, and narrative. Post-punk and darkwave influences intertwine with a literary sensibility, resulting in a sound that is essential, nocturnal, and deeply human. In June 2025, he released Desiderium, a 13-track album that stands as a synthesis of his artistic path: an intense, cohesive, and uncompromising work where identity, memory, and desire move between shadow and light
