Johnson IP is a Nigerian multi-genre music producer and engineer based in Lagos, Nigeria. He is also a founding member of the 44DB collective which consists of producers. As one of the fast-rising creatives leading the new wave Nigerian music scene, Johnson’s simple and low-end-based production style has bagged him some notable placements since he commenced his journey in 2016. A few of the Artists Johnson has collaborated with over the years include, PsychoYP, Azanti, Ladipoe, Gabzy, Straffitti, Twiss Tosin, Ninety9, Manuel Cole, Bianco & Apex Village to name a few. The young producer has also been part of several bodies of works like PsychoYP’s YP SZN 1 & 2, YP & Azanti Vol. 1, Gabzy’s Malone EP, Straffiti’s MOLOTOV EP, Ladipoe’s Revival Sunday series, and many more. Only just a few years into the music scene, Johnson IP is projected to be recognized as a household name in the music industry.
