Joe Capriglione doesn't come from Nashville. He comes from the Pine Barrens — that stretch of South Jersey scrubland where the cedar water runs dark and the towns don't show up on most maps. That place is in every song he sings: the smoke, the silence, the kind of people who work hard and don't ask for much. His music lands somewhere between outlaw country and Americana, built on honest storytelling and the particular weight of a life actually lived. He records, releases, and handles everything himself — the songs, the outreach, the whole operation. He writes with his wife Jenn Capriglione (both CMA members) , volunteers as a firefighter, and answers to no one. No label. No management. . The catalog pulls from Tyler Childers and Colter Wall as much as it does from Hank Williams Jr. — music that earns its dirt rather than performing it. His debut releases hit in early 2026, anchored by Grew Up in the Pines — a track that does exactly what the title says

Long Neck Dreams
Written by Jenn Capriglione, “ Long Neck Dreams” is a love letter to how we actually used to spend our weekends out deep in the Pine barrens — smoke curling up through the pines, cold longnecks, Jennifer laughin’ in my flannel coat. It’s the sound of Friday sundown turning into Sunday-morning-came-too-fast, wishing you could hit rewind on the whole thing. The line “ She’s splashing like a country song” says it all! more
