Josey is a natural story teller and embraces that by creating and writing his music about family history, tales and "legends". Josey Clay has been surrounded by music his whole life starting in church with old hymns and growing up on old classic country music, then picking up guitar at the age of 12. He began writing songs at 14. When you see Josey perform or listen to his music You will hear music inspired by favorites like Alan Jackson, Eric Church and Dwight Yoakam. Today Josey is pursuing his dream of creating and performing his original music out of Chattanooga, Eastern Tennessee/ North Georgia area.
