The Mexican-American artist, J. Scoops was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. J. Scoops was born in the late 80s’ and grew up listening to hardcore rap during The G-Funk Era, but idolized 2pac the most – as “his music always inspired him and kept him going forward in life.” It was being raised in an atmosphere that would break most that drove J. Scoops to stay committed to his vision, and keep his pen moving even during the darkest of times. When recalling what brought J.
