Julie Tune is a singer/songwriter hailing from Hamilton Ontario. She started with piano as her first instrument and began songwriting at age 11. Julie attended the Etobicoke School of the Arts majoring in music and furthered her studies in the Resident ARCT program with the Royal conservatory. Julie is a coloratura soprano with a wide dynamic range. She recorded her debut album in 2004 titled "Situational Quandary". The title track became a Newfoundland hit as it was placed into regular rotation at the VOCM radio in St John's. Julie is an artist that writes in the folk style; each song has a spiritual message or tells a story about life's journey. "My intention with music is to shine a light and bring comfort to others in this hurting world".
