Dolli is an emerging Singer/Songwriter hailing from East London with a passion running across genres of music, and an appetite for song-writing running in her blood from early childhood. She drew inspiration from life, love, faith and music itself. She is in love with classic legends of soul, such as Aretha Franklin and Etta James, while yet deeply inspired by the raspy sounding truths of Lauryn Hill and Ed Sheeran. She creates a sub-genre of soul music; "IndieSoul", with lyrics which draw on her love for God and her honesty about life, in the hope that it brings healing and resurrection to the soul. Often found behind a guitar with a pen in hand, she expresses her musings with vibrancy and passion, to smooth covers of other artists' melodies or carefully crafted originals. She has performed at the Mr & Miss State Commonwealth pageant, several Open Mics dotted around London and Hull during her stay there whilst studying and is currently working on releasing her music next year.
