Justin's music borders on the avant-garde / experimental. Justin Philip Nash started playing clarinet when he was about 10 years old. After playing the clarinet a few years, he took lessons in Alto Saxophone and piano. Eventually he dedicated himself to piano full time. After receiving a Bachelor's in Music from Humboldt State University (2007), he moved to the SF Bay area and took a MFA in Music from Mills College in 2014, where he studied composition with Roscoe Mitchell and Steed Cowart. He has since directed several choirs and performed throughout the Bay Area as pianist, keyboardist, and composer / arranger.
