Carlene Ford born Kaye Starh was born in Ewarton Jamaica and then in her mid teen she relocated to Kingston Jamaica. She started her career as a model in one of the island's top modeling agency . Being encouraged by her friend Margo who she shared classes with at Columbus Travel Agency school encouraged her to sing and model . This later transformed her creatively in winning Ms Club Caribbean . Kaye Starh made her musical debut " What's A Mellow Day" which was produced by African Star then she began providing background vocal support for Sizzla Kolanji, Anthony B, Capleton just to name a few. She worked with Gregory Issacs for two years and then got introduced to Roots Rock Reggae on a wider scale when she began working exclusively with the renown reggae group Black Uhuru who won the first Grammy Awards for Reggae Music . Kaye Starh have toured extensively with the Black Uhuru Band and also written four songs which is on Black Uhuru Grammy nominated album.
