Fresno, CA native Jean-Luc Monroe grew up with music in his home and in his blood. Raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Jean-Luc Monroe started making beats at age 12. Discovering a game called MTV Music Generator 3, he started remaking video game music. Always being able to sing, He picked up song writing, rapping, and dancing. In his adult years after choosing Hip-Hop and Neo-Soul, He learned how to mix and master and cultivate a sound he can call his own. Wit, cleverness, vocabulary, and ridiculous wordplay accompanied by a smooth, relaxed vocal tone over simplified production makes listeners tune in to every word and be moved by the music behind the voice. Often times rewinding from missing a punchline. These skills and performances cemented him as a legend in his hometown. But now, he's looking to go outside of his city limits and expand.
