From the studio to Comic Books and Back Again
KINGAMUN.Re', a Philadelphia native with roots in the city's vibrant hip-hop scene, has always been a creative force, driven by a passion for storytelling. From his earliest days as 'K.B.A' (King Big Ant), he and his crew, the NSC (NorthSide Calvary), honed their skills under the mentorship of legendary Philadelphia producer Richard Nickels. The group, formed with his brother KAZ Doe, neighborhood friend Big Les, and cousins Sir Rowdy Reg and Nasty T, learned the art of song construction, laying the foundation for their future endeavors.
While the group's initial foray into the music industry saw their demos fall short of garnering interest from major labels, KINGAMUN.Re' remained undeterred. Collaborating with producer Kenneth 'Kalah' Higginbotham of SPATS Productions, he constructed his first solo project, 'K.A.Z (Kaos After Zero),' a showcase of his lyrical prowess.
