Growing up I always had a passion for any and every type of art. I began playing the drums in 2007 at the age of 12. I was inspired by my uncle who played the guitar (extremely well) in various bands. He unlocked a whole world to me, letting me experiment with the vast array of different music equipment he had. I was mostly sticking to cover bands until I met a classmate who pushed me past just playing other’s music. We began using our study hall period in 9th grade (2009) as a time to create songs about things/people we observed during our time in school. I let the music side of my life slip a bit along with everything else after experiencing a Traumatic Brain Injury. I fell into a deep depression that was only getting worse. Finally, I reconnected to my artistic side with creating digital art (Lucy Morgan Art) but still felt a piece missing. That missing piece was filled when I started producing music again thus spawning the music side of me, KING KANG.
