KJ KNG was born in the Bay Area and living in LA, KJ would often travel between the two cities to visit family while gaining new perspectives and experiences from the suburbs of sf valley to the gritty streets of Oakland and Richmond CA. He openly expresses the lessons that he’s experienced through his music and usually does so with a dark undertone, a hint of sarcasm, and an incredible flow. KJ is also a part of the 3 member hip hop Collective Off-Key and while he works on his own project he simultaneously puts out singles with his group with a unique style and originality that most believe today’s hip hop is lacking. He believes that musicians and comedians alike are the last great philosophers and draw inspiration for his music from artists like Andre 3000, Lauryn Hill, and Jimi Hendrix to artists such as Dave Chapelle and Gorge Carlin and hopes to tour and see his music shift the people’s perspective and erase societies pressure to be
