Kevin John Simon got an extraordinary early start at age 17, as a Drummer for the World Famous International Touring Group UP WITH PEOPLE, performing in many of the greatest Concert Halls, Auditoriums, Bull-Rings, and Athletic Stadiums in 35 States and 150 Cites throughout the USA, Canada, Mexico, Portugal, France, and Spain. Following UWP, Simon began his Percussion Education at the University of Toledo, under Tympanist Bob Bell. Next Simon joined the US Marine Corps. He served four years with the US Marine Drum and Bugle Corps in Washington, DC. Simon has been a very Active Drummer and Percussionist performer and teacher, playing in EVERY Style with numerous Bands, Orchestras, and Musical Organizations and Groups including the Miami Symphony Orchestra, Greater Miami Symphonic Band (Drum Set Soloist), the University of Miami Alumni Big Band, and for All of South Florida's Leading University Music Conductors.
