KOENIGSPILZ, born Alexander Hense, is a German DJ and producer from Gladbeck whose passion for music began in early childhood. As a teenager he started crafting his first tracks, laying the foundation for a sound he would later refine with professional hardware and software from the age of 28 onward. Influenced by both electronic and classical music, he draws inspiration from two worlds that shape his signature style. Today, his productions blend driving electronic elements with emotive depth, reflecting themes of love, pain, personal growth, and the moments that move him. At times, his creativity also unfolds in playful, quirky compositions designed to spark a smile or ignite the dance floor. When he’s not in the studio, KOENIGSPILZ indulges in another passion — bus driving — which takes him across international routes and fuels his artistic perspective with new impressions and experiences.
