Kevin Outterbridge A HOME GROWN PHILLY TALENT Kevin Outterbridge is a gifted and talented musician. At the age of three, his father recognized that he showed an interest and aptitude for music. This burgeoning interest was nurtured and encouraged by his parents who deputized his older brother Billy, a drummer as well, to teach him how to play. As the years progressed it was discovered that he possessed a gift to play the drums and a career in music was his destiny. By the time Kevin entered middle-school he was playing for the jazz ensemble and was later accepted into Overbrook High School’s Music Magnet Program. He performed in the jazz ensemble, concert band, percussion ensemble and orchestra. His training at Overbrook High School prepared him for performing opportunities with the All-City Orchestra and later with the Better Break Music Camp, sponsored by Settlement Music School under the direction of Mr. Lovette Hines ( Artistic Director of The Philadelphia CLEF
