Originally from Moldova in Eastern Europe, Konstantin Masik was a member of many rock and metal bands in Moldova and Russia both as session and full time member. That gave him enough studio and touring experience to start developing his own style and slowly making a stand after moving to St. Petersburg, RU. His instrumental solo project "KOTR" combines different aspects of electronic music and guitar. Ambient, chill out atmospheric sounds based on downtempo, trance beats with heavy and melodic guitar lines. Having in the discography several singles, EP and debut concept album "Living In Denial" he continues to work productively and release new music. Now KOTR is ready to present his new single "What If?"

Till Your Last Breath Is All Mine
"...they sat in silence and watched emptiness. Suddenly, the nature around freezes, as if is also waiting for something. Just yesterday it was life with dreams, plans and ideas. Seemed like everything will stay the same for a while. Now it’s like it was in a different life - everything is silent. Suddenly and quickly. Everything became clear. Like somebody put it all on hold and we're just hanging in the moment. We have to move on, but not rushing the meeting with "tomorrow" we want to extend "today".
In the future, intentionally or not but we're gonna come back to this "today"....

“This track like everything I ever created came from my deepest inner feelings and emotions. Half way through creating process there’s always a moment when I’m being attacked by doubts and thoughts like: “why am I doing this?”, “Is it good enough??”, “I’m only wasting time”. The whole process slows down, I start feeling pressure and even feel tension in my muscles. The worst comes when I start loosing my breath due to panic and self sabotage. It’s hard to stay concentrated and inspired…”
