KP (Keiana Parks) is a Christian musician and YouTuber who was born June 26 in North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As the only and oldest girl, KP was raised with five younger brothers. Growing up as the leader of her siblings, she spent most of her days on the basketball court, doing karate, writing music, or playing outside. Always a tomboy, KP began to struggle with her sexuality as early as elementary school. As she got older, it became more and more difficult to suppress those feelings, and joining the basketball team in high school only made it worse when she realized she wasn’t the only one experiencing the same difficulties. By the time she started college, she was fully out of the closet. Still, having been raised in church, it wasn’t until she fully surrendered her heart to God that her desires in this area began to change.
