Kevin Alexander Robles (b. 2002) is a young composer from Baker, Florida. Currently, he is a student at Troy University in Troy, Alabama, seeking his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. As a writer, Kevin enjoys composing music for anything and everything he can think of. He primarily loves writing for large ensembles, chamber ensembles, and percussion solo. He also had the honor of being selected as one of 6 finalists in the “2022 Young Composers Competition” hosted by the Alabama Music Educators Association (AMEA). Kevin has also found success as an arranger, writing several marching band charts for the Troy University “Sound of the South”.
As a performer, Kevin has enjoyed playing with several ensembles throughout his life. He has the privilege of performing with the prestigious Troy University Symphony Band, Troy University Percussion Ensemble, and the “Sound of the South”.
