Alt-rock singer-songwriter Kate Angel is quickly becoming a major driving force behind the new generation of rock blossoming out of the live music capital of the world; Austin, Texas. The talented young multi-instrumentalist has released several single projects which embodies both the soul of rock n’ roll, and a modern 21st century alt-rock influence too. Her 2020 EP Wrong Era has landed her on Austin’s CW-TV show 512 Studios LIVE on more than one occasion, plus more than 60 live performances at ACL 3Ten, Unofficial SXSW, Houston Rodeo, Round Rock Chalk Walk, and the Georgetown Red Poppy Festival. Kate’s self-written second EP, “VENOM”, was co-produced with Matt Noveskey and Kelsey Flanagan at the famed Orb Recording Studios in Austin, TX, and released on February 14, 2023. The new songs continued to lean heavily into both classic and new alt rock influences, as she further established her name in the industry.

DARK SOUL
Dark Soul is my first rock ballad and expresses my struggle with depression. The pandemic put me in a dark place. I felt that I had no control of my life, and I could not escape the “Dragon” that was devouring me (My Dark Soul, meaning my depression). I realized my sadness was consuming my love for life, and I needed to heal and overcome the darkness. So, I took control, became stronger, and focused on the positive. more

Some Patience
Some Patience is a meaningful theme based off Human Construct with quoted lyrics “Understand, we all need Some Patience sometimes in the end.” The song focuses on not holding back from achieving your own accomplishments and serves as a reminder that patience and hard work will pay off “in the end, my friend”.more
